I'm a 21 year-old male, and have been married for two years, and I'm not tired of it yet:) In general I'm a jaded bastard that always has something to bitch about (i.e., the radio, Hollywood movies, American society). Somewhat unsurprisingly, my biggest interests are music and film.
I'm pretty oldskool in my musical taste- deathrock being my love. I DJ (spinning deathrock, punkrock, batcave, goth rock, new wave, and psychobilly mostly) at a hole-in-the-wall bar here in El Paso; it's a weekly gig. I have recently expanded my participation in the music scene to band promotion, my first show being Ghoultown (check them out at www.ghoultown.com).
As for film, big shocker, I'm into horror. There is precious little good horror coming out these days so I spend most of my efforts collecting older pieces on DVD. Italian horror cinema from the '70s and '80s holds the stongest grip on my interest. Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci, Lamberto Bava, Michelle Soavi, and even Bruno Matisse are just a few reasons that I feel Italian horror is the best. The visuals and style (sometimes over plot) are the substance of Italian horror; so much more interesting than most dull American productions. As for American cinema, I'm into George Romero, Clive Barker and Sam Raimi, yeah, I'm a zombie enthusiast.
That is all for now.
